Gold Coast Animal Hospital feeds all boarding pets Hill’s Science Diet foods. If your pet requires a specific diet, please bring enough food for your pet’s stay with us. We are able to provide Hills Prescription Diets. All pets are given comfortable bedding. Our feline friends enjoy accommodations in our kitty condos. Our dog runs, some of the largest in the city, measure 4 feet by 16 feet. Maybe best of all, staff members live above the clinic, so someone is always here to check on your pet while you are away.

Standard Boarding includes comfortable bedding, fresh water throughout the day, Hills Science Diet food, and, for dogs, three trips outside to relieve themselves. Our feline boarders’ litter boxes are checked and scooped three times daily as well.

Silver Star Boarding includes all of the above, as well as land playtime each day of your pet’s stay. All play times are a 20-minute session with your pet and a member of our staff. For dogs, this playtime, when weather permits, is on our enclosed roof top deck. Is your pet an older dog who does not want to race around and play? Their playtime may be a one on one cuddle session, with lots of belly rubs. Your feline friend deserves individualized attention too. They love the extra ear scratches! A mid-day snack is also included for all Silver Star canines. Silver Star felines receive their own catnip mouse to play with and take home!

Gold Star Boarding is a unique package for our canine boarders. It includes everything in Standard Boarding, and a daily swim in our pool! Swim sessions are 20 minutes long, and are a one on one session between a staff member and your pet. There are two points of easy access into our pool. This is a great option for active dogs that love to swim, and for geriatric pets whose joints could benefit from some low stress exercise. Life jackets are provided. This package also includes a mid-day treat. In the evening, all Gold Star pets are given a Kong toy, filled with t/d, to help pass the evening.

Please know that your pet is important to us. For that reason, all pets must be up to date on vaccines and stool testing. In addition, due to a new city ordinance, all dogs must show proof of a city dog license.
